Over Matthijs Schoemacher

Matthijs Schoemacher (1931) richtte de eerste privékliniek van Nederland op (1978), vooral bekend als de Dokter Schoemacher Klinieken.

Als reactie op de ongekend grote invloed die geneesmiddelen als chemotherapeutica, cytostatica, psychofarmaca en middelen tegen hart- en vaatziekten op de gehele samenleving hebben en waardoor wereldwijd een grote afhankelijkheid van deze middelen is ontstaan, stelde hij zijn “gezondheids- infusen” samen.

Tegenover gepatenteerde, in chemische laboratoria uitgedachte, lichaamsvreemde stoffen, die naast een hoofdwerking op termijn vaak voor de gezondheid ernstige bijwerkingen vertonen, zet hij uitsluitend middelen in die de mens al zeker 200.000 jaar gebruikte om met succes te overleven.

Zonder dure geneesmiddelen die historisch gezien net komen kijken, maar die momenteel, wonderlijk genoeg, in de gehele medische wereld de dienst uitmaken.

Tegenover de kunstproducten van chemische laboratoria, stelt hij de natuurproducten, aangemaakt in de biochemische laboratoria van de natuur: de lichaamscellen, die elk afzonderlijk, volgens unieke genetische codes, hun eigen organische producten synthetiseren uit stoffen die de natuur zelf voortbrengt en aan de hand van informatie, zoals die al sinds de eerste mens vastligt in het genetisch materiaal van elke celkern.
